China Textile Academy (CTA) was founded in 1956

China Textile Academy(CTA) the superior unit of Beijing CTA-Tex Chemicals Co.,Ltd (CTC) was founded in 1956, as an affiliated institute to the former Ministry of Textile Industry.

CTC is an auxiliary center developed by a China Textile Academy research group.

1999

CTC is an auxiliary center developed by a China Textile Academy research group

CTA was later transformed in 1999 as a state-owned large-size high-tech enterprises group under the direct leadership of the central government

2008

Restructured into a joint-stock limited company

After several times capital increase and share expansion to 9 million U.S. dollars, in 2008, CTC was restructured into a joint-stock limited company.

2009

Merged into the China General Technology Group in 2009

In the year of 2009, CTA merged into the China General Technology Group and became a subordinate company of the Group.

Approved by the State Council in 2009, CTC was merged with the CTA into a critical state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government: China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd.
